THE ZOO!

Today we went to the St Louis ZOO!!! It was super fun! and afterwards we went to the best little taco place (see pics :))
Time is FLYING by and I can't stop it! it's kinda scary. I feel I am just starting to understand how to be a better missionary. There is ALWAYS something that I can be improving on and this past week it really hit me like a ton of bricks that I could be doing better. With that being said I was feeling very inadequate with the mantel of my calling. Yesterday morning (before sacrament meeting) we had ward council and the stake president was training because it was ward conference and the whole time I just felt like how the heck am I supposed to do this?? I have SO MANY weaknesses I can't live up to what I am being asked to do. I didn't know how I was going to leave that room and BE a missionary.
Then a miracle happened.
When I walked out of that room the spirit filled my heart, I became calm and I felt the enabling power of the atonement. My mind was cleared and I completely forgot myself. It was no longer how am I supposed to do this, but it became how can Christ and I do this together? As we began to greet people I saw them not as they were but I believe Heavenly Father let me as He see them! Love is everything!
We also had TWO investigators, Ed and Cachela come to church yesterday!! AND our little Indian friend, Pratik went to the STL YSA ward yesterday!! I am sad that we don't get to teach him anymore but hey it's all the same work :)

I have been pondering this scripture a lot lately! What does it mean to "stand still"?

"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed." D&C 123:17

We have such a busy week a head of us and I am so excited. I know Heavenly Father is in every detail of our lives!
