TRANSFER WEEK!

A lot has happened this week!!

PURPOSED!

 So Rebecca and Jason are getting married!!!!! We taught them the law of chastity and at the end I asked if they would get married and they said yes! I can now cross that off my bucket list. The special day is May 6th! It's amazing how the spirit is working in Jason's heart and he already knows what he needs to do before we ask. 

WALKED & WALKED & WALKED

The whole mission got a cut on the amount of miles we are allotted to use every month.... so we had to park the car and walk/ catch rides everywhere! It wasn't that bad, and on the plus side since I walk more i can eat more! hahahaha

TRANSFERS!

see ya Waterloo! Hello Glen Carbon! I am going to Glen Carbon IL to be a Sister Training Leader (STL).. basically just means I will go on exchanges with about 6 different sister companionships in this stake. I will also be over a YSA ward! I am excited to work with people my age! 

My new companion is Sister Hubbard. It is funny because I just went on exchanges the other day to Glen Carbon with her and I felt like that's where I would be going. It's funny how the spirit will prepare you for things.

I really am going to miss Waterloo though. It has taught me so many things! one of which is how to have faith in Jesus Christ. I've found out that faith is so much more than just believing. It is an action. Faith in Jesus Christ means we trust him completely. It means we trust him to perform miracles, but we also trust him when he doesn't. This kind of faith helps us understand that he truly loves you and knows what you need when you need it.  

I am sad to leave Waterloo but I've promised Heavenly Father that I would serve with all my heart, might, mind, and strength wherever he needs me. So I am excited for this next adventure :).

oh also i accidentally made the BEST mini lemon poppy seed muffins. literally the best muffins i have ever ate in my entire life. you can call me rachel ray.
