1. ZONE CONFERENCE was Thursday and it was so great!! I met a ton of new people. It was kind of sad because it was President and Sister Morgan's last time with all of us. But it was awesome because the spirit was SO strong and you could just feel so much love!
Elder Hubner and I did the little skit and it was so funny! President Morgan really appreciated it. the general feel of it was that elders and sister need to "build a wall" and not focus on the opposite gender (it's like a mission joke) and at the end we said that the Mississippi river is the perfect wall and all Sisters will be serving in Illinois and all Elders in Missouri hahaha it was good.
Oh I almost forgot! There is no Cafe Rio out here... But for lunch we basically had Cafe Rio!!! It was THE Best!!!!
2. EXCHANGES was Friday and Saturday. I went to Springfield Illinois with Sister Day. She was way fun! And I met so many cool people and I hope to one day serve there. But boy I was sure glad when I came back to Danville! I missed it! and I missed Sister Hill.
TWO (2) NEW INVESTIGATORS
This story is legit. (It happened on exchanges so this is what Sis Hill told me)
So this first one her name is Tiara. She just moved in with Abrion (our investigator who's been not keeping commitments) and We went over thinking that we were going to give Abrion The Talk (How she needs to be at least attempting to keep commitments and stuff) But Tiara was there and she was like you are the 5th church people i've seen this week! This is a sign from God that I need to go to church! And she started crying and yeah we are going to teach her :)
The second one is Barbra. We went to the splash park Sunday to teach a lesson to Abrion and Barbra was there! (Abrion was coming in clutch this week for meeting new people) We started talking to her and she said she just moved here a couple of months ago and she was looking for a church! So you bet we invited her!! We have an appointment with her this Thursday :)) She is married with two little kids and has such a strong faith in God already!
Life is great :) Oh yeah! There are FIREFLIES here!!!
