UPDATES

6.5.17
Sorry I have been MIA but don't worry I am still alive and A LOT has happened!!
in a quick summed up version
TEMPLE TRIP!
Last Tuesday I as able to go to the temple!! I am SO grateful Heavenly Father has restored the doctrine of temples on the earth. I was having a pretty rough time previous, and especially Tuesday morning before the temple i was a mess haha BUT as soon as we got on the grounds and I entered the doors I felt an immediate peace come over me. My worries of the world had fled and the spirit filled my heart. My environment hasn't changed but my heart was. I know that is how the Lord works.
The world works from the outside in. Sometimes I feel 'if only i was in a different area' or 'if only i had different people to work with'.... etc  but Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ work from the inside out! As I've grown in gratitude for my Savior and for the things he is allowing me to experience i gain new perspectives. I understand that this life is all about becoming!
FAMILY HISTORY AND COLLEGE KIDS!
So as you know we are over a Young Single Adult congregation and we have been struggling to find people to teach. In the past we have gone to SUIE at the "rock" and we've had little success.  but this past week we went and brought along a couple graduating seniors and we were ready to help people learn about their families!
We were able get 13 names and numbers of people who are interested in meeting with us this coming week so we can help get them started on familysearch! MIRACLES
TRANSFERS
Our mission is doing a new thing where at transfer calls we are now only told if we are leaving or staying... so calls were yesterday and I am staying and sister hubbard is leaving! I won't know who my new companion is until tomorrow when she gets in the car haha. it's quite exciting.
Also I am going to be a GRANDMA!! which means Sister Roberts (the sister I trained) is going to be training! :D

I love being a missionary. I really do! Everyday I am finding out the importance of my calling. This is such a sacred time in my life. I am so grateful for the struggles of today because I know with every struggle I am well on my way to becoming who my Father in Heaven needs me to be.
1. Sister Hubbard and I
2. We did a temple tour with an investigator and President and Sister Bateman!
3. For service we helped at the Alhambra homecoming parade!! it was definitely a small town get together hahaha
