............... humbling experience!
in preparation for our church tour that was April 8th, we probably worked at least 50 hours for it, including handing our over 1,000 flyers! This was our opportunity to really try and get new investigators! well the day came and well. not one non member YSA came..... granted there were some investigators for other missionaries there so that was good!! but about half way through sister Hubbard and I made our way to the empty chapel and got on our knees and with tears in our eyes prayed that all of our hard work would help, if it be His will, our area progress. So we got up and ended the night with still nothing. Not going to lie I was really... sad. I felt that we had wasted so much time of Heavenly Father's time preparing for this and i felt bad. But at the very end of the night I met this guy who is 71 years old and he said he has been looking for a church all his life. he has been to every denomination you could think of and he didn't like them because they were all man made. well with teary eyes he said tonight changed his mind. He had been looking for 70 years for a church and he thinks he finally found it.
Something that helped me gain a better understanding of this was Genesis 37 when it tells the story of Joseph. It's a good one! i don't have time to explain it but if you read and ponder it the spirit will let you know haha.
