Week of Change

It's the first official week with my new comp S Lyons!! She is super awesome! She was born in Canada raised in Texas :) She's super sweet and I'm excited to get to know her better!

Funny moment.... I was leaving a voicemail for a new member that just moved into our ward and I was ending it and I started saying "in the name of Jesus..." Like I was saying a prayer hahahah that's when you know it's real. But it's all good because she' called us back :)

This week has been good! Change is hard, but that's the only way we grow in life. All things are possible with Heavenly Father! 

Since I have been so into change I have studied it a little more this week and I came across a really good quote

"The Lord works from the inside out. 

The world works from the outside in. 

The world would take people out of the slums. 

Christ takes the slums out of the people, 

and then they take themselves out of the slums!

I really liked that! Because it's so true. Christ helps us, help ourselves. As much as I want everything just to fall into perfect place and have an 'easy fix' that's not how Heavenly Father works. But thankfully I know He loves me and that I love Him!
