Basically 3 Months Down!

Whatttup! In 3 days I will have been out 3 months! Time FLIES! So in honor of that. Here are 3 things I have learned so far:

1. Being a missionary doesn't mean you never have fun!

- I don't know what I was really expecting out of a mission.. probably to just be reading the scriptures all the time, and walking and knocking. But FALSE! I mean we do, do that but it's super fun! We were put on this earth {mission} to find JOY and following Christ truly does bring your soul that long term joy that nothing else can! 

2. Messing up is how you learn

- Yeah yeah I was always taught that, but it's so true!! I don't purposely go out with the intention to make mistakes, but they just happen. Once I realize what I've done I automatically feel silly and turn to Heavenly Father, those moments are when I feel closest to Him. 

3. It all comes down to your desires

- I am no where near perfect! But Heavenly Father knows my desires. He knows our TRUE motivation for doing things. He knows it's hard. He knows the natural man within all of us wants to give up, but that doesn't stop Him. If we have even the slightest desire to follow Christ, God will give us strength to act on that. All He asks is that we allow Him to change us. 

This week has been good! Me and Sister Hill are working on our YOGA skills *see picture below lol* It's still kinda hot and humid but I still love it :) I don't want to cold to come!! 

One of the girls in my ward, Tori, gave her farewell talk Sunday. 

She will be serving in the Tempe, AZ mission spanish speaking! I am so excited for her!!!
