Hello family and friends!!! I have officially been in the MTC one week!! And I can honestly say I LOVE IT! The days were really long at first but on Sunday in the pouring rain we were able to go to the temple and walk around it and since then it's flown by! (I know it's only Wednesday but you don't understand how long the other days felt leading up to Sunday haha). My companions name is Sister Earnshaw and I can say with absolute assurance that God is the one who makes companion assignments. He knows exactly what I need. She is AMAZING! We work really well together. My other two roommates are sis Gunderson and Sis Richards. We are all going to St. Louis Missouri! And apparently situations where all of are going the same place and staying in the same room doesn't happen often. My district consists of us four sisters and then 3 other Elder companionship's. We all have very different personalities and backgrounds but it's amazing to see how much our common love of God and this gospel has brought us together. We were given assignments on Friday?... I don't know what day it was (they all run together) Sis Earnshaw and I are Sister Training Leaders, so I guess that means I need to figure out how to get to the cafeteria without taking a wrong turn because I'll have to teach others.
I love getting dearelder mail! We get them at night and it's nice to go to bed with a little extra strength, ya know? I also love letters :). The food here is.... well the cereal is GREAT! haha jk sometimes it's good. It really just depends. I miss you guys so much! But I know this is where I need to be and I can't WAIT to go to Missouri! Only two more weeks here and then I'm off! Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or want to know more about something! Because I don't really know what to say
